Essence of Zürich | Typography Project
A reflection of my time studying abroad in Zürich, Switzerland, this typographic project strives to capture
my experience of this culture in four intimate panels using imagery, type, and language to convey my
understanding of such a magnificent city. The images are made up of handwritten words in the four main
languages of Switzerland: Swiss-German, Italian, French, and Romansh. Within the four panels, from one
foreign student’s perspective, I did my best to capture the culture, food, history, and emotion of this
elegant city.
