River Otter Café | Brand Package
The River Otter Café is a projected business that would satisfy the need for a coffee shop in Hancock,
Michigan. The idea behind River Otter Café was to create a modern, yet cozy coffee shop for this usually
cold and very snowy city. Drawing upon both the environment of the city, and the owner of the shop, the
name River Otter was chosen. The city of Hancock is near water and my family name, “Nörz” translates to
“wasserwiesel”, or water weasel, thus forming the café name. Simplistic, sophisticated design was used
with welcoming colors to provide a comfortable atmosphere for its viewers and participants.
