Arts in the U.P. was a proposed website design to promote local artists in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The colors were strategically chosen to represent the geographical area of the U.P. with its abundance of blue water and orange palette found in the autumn leaves and historical buildings. Clear usability was accomplished through polished content and organized pages. The purpose of the website was to create an open platform for all U.P. artists to be able to represent their work.
